found these and some other tools at the local restore.   not sure what they are for, but have suspicions...

I'm clueless. Cant say I've ever seen anything like them. First thought was maybe for a machine tool, inside diameter spline cutting tool???

I'm here but don't know what they are either.  I thought maybe leather tools but leather is usually stamped.

Dans guess is correct, they are for leather working.

I think they are for making cracklings before one puts them in the oven to render out the lard to make them eatable.

 

Yep, I've eaten lots of cracklings with edges made from those tools!

Don't know if those tools made 'em, but I've eaten my fair share of cracklings too. Always the bonus treat along with the 5 gallon bucket of lard when we had hogs butchered. 

Oh boy, that brings back memories! My grandparents raised hogs and geese back in the old country, but this IS a family-friendly site, so I'll leave it at that!

Best part of hog butchering was the cracklins made in the rendering tub. 

Then of course, piglet castration time yields some tasties, too.

Used to trade our "nuggets" to a local butcher for choice ribeyes, t-bones and filet mignon. He in turn sold them to a couple local taverns where he was a "charter member".

 I don't know for sure, but I suspect you got the best end of the deal. Friend of mine was a bog poker player, he said they always had mountain oysters at their monthly poker game. Fortunately for me, I don't play cards.

During school, one of my good friends raised sheep on his farm.   He said the process of turning a ram into a wether was to snap a big rubber band on the affected area.  He said you did not want to be standing in front of it when your dad did the deed.   And they walked funny for a few days.
