Yes, it was! 

Got another drawer in Mother's toolbox done. This is extensions and rachets.  Yellow is 1/4 drive, red is 3/8 drive, blue is 1/2 drive.  Why?  These are colors used in adapters for screw gun. She knows and uses them.  I matched this to what she remembers.  

 

Hmm...35 degrees outside..rain/snow mix...drab and dreary...Migraine going on, no lumber in the shop...

 

Must be a Monday..

Third consecutive day, up and out early; about to do this old man in. Saturday, Church Men's monthly breakfast, then over to next county seat to PU auction spoils. Finished taxes Sat afternoon. Sunday, Sunrise Services followed by breakfast, Sunday School, and Easter Services, then mailed taxes. Home, Easter family dinner, then annual egg hunt. "Easter" bunny is getting old...one egg still MIA. It'll show up by July at the latest...mower always find them.

 

Woke up to nearly 2" of sunsh on the ground. Took youngest granddaughter back to college across state. Roughly 5-1/2 +/- round trip with a stop for lunch and a "convenience" stop on way back. Should have left the dog out while I was gone. Someone stole all that snush? Watching another auction that closes tonight. Likely a bust...most items must be plated in platinum.

 

Good news though. Indiana has just been designated 7 wonders of the world (1) wonder if winter will ever end (2) wonder if the sun will ever shine (3) wonder if it will ever dry up (4) wonder if the wind will ever quit blowing (5) wonder if get warm again (6) wonder if the weather people can even spell weather (7) wonder if the groundhog has put a curse on me since I "offed" one last fall with a steel fence post....humm...makes one wonder doesn't it?

4 @ 7/8" x 5-1/2" x 77",  and a single 7/8" x 5-1/2" x  48" with a barky edge....

 

Total price for the five boards?   $9.00

Got my lawn all tended to.  With all the rain we had been getting I had not even noticed that the sweet shrub was in full bloom.  But I will get out and enjoy it over the next few days - it doesn't last too long, a couple weeks is all.  Not much to look at, but the fragrance is great, like fresh strawberries.  I've several patches around the yard.  It is the short understory plant in this pic.  Next up will be the taller leggy plants in the background.

 

 

 

On another good note, Julie is about over her covid quarantine and is doing pretty well.  I know that she is itching to get out and about... she's gotten "hope you are feeling better cards" from Kroger, Publix and three Goodwills!!!  I continue my self imposed quarantine in the shop and yard
