That is one Super Bee Frederick!  You are not a Mopar man are you?  Wait that's a different Super Bee...:BugEyeSmiley:

What you've made is stunning.  I'm with Dave on this, move something if you have to, but get this one up on the wall!

Not Saab but a "I Roll"(♂), since the late 70s and, owned by Geely in China.

Final unveiling reveals another stupendous piece of work! Did you make the display box above the bee?

Thank you for the compliment. I didn't make the sconce but it was made, and given to me, by my mentor in woodworking many years ago. As he tells the story, Jamie Wyeth(the painter and son of Andrew) ordered several of these for his house in New Hope, PA and he(mentor) had one left over so it was gifted to me one Christmas.

I like it...A LOT! The bee that is. Great location on a landing wall. One has to stop briefly looking right at it. Worthy of the look.

Oh, I like the sconce too...great story to go with it.

Sooo...what's up next Frederick? It's going to stretch you a little to top the bee and eagle. Somehow I think you're up to the challenge.

Perhaps a dragonfly or another seashell from our travel collection?

FWIW,  My vote...dragonfly...amazing creation to watch.

That bee up there is sweet (pun intended) Frederick!

I, too, vote for the dragonfly next.
