January 4, 20224 yr All my pix are taken with an Android phone. I email them to myself, run them through Ifranview for size and framing, save them on the laptop from where I upload them. I can't comment about Mac and iPhone as I have never owned or operated either.

Sounds like I'm not the only one that has to go thru all the whistles and bells to go from point A to point B..............but what ever works...........works.

John There are a few reasons why I process images through Picasa but the biggest reason is it dramatically reduces the file size and storage is always an issue. A good example is the picture of the ornaments I posted, yesterday I think. The file size of the original picture is 3.4MB, after cropping and exporting it to my upload folder the file size is 95k. To my untrained eye there is no reduction in quality. Don't know how or why it works that way but I understand the benefits of it. Edited January 6, 20224 yr by Steve Krumanaker

The Woodworking Friends website also led me in the same direction as he required smaller versions due to space.
January 6, 20224 yr I agree. I reduce my pictures to 640 x 480 so it will go through all the routers from here to there. It's not that bad. I save the modified file to my laptop. I can upload it at any time.
