December 27, 20214 yr Popular Post Some time back I bought one of these for a friend as a birthday gift. Wish I would have kept it. Som many times it would come in handy.
December 28, 20214 yr Popular Post Best type. No need to charge batteries. Don't have to replace the batteries or maintain the charger. Does not need the grid for charging. What can go wrong?
January 16, 20224 yr @Steve newman I live just west of of Greenfield and the Shop I work out of is just up stream from the original Goodell tool plant in Shelburne Falls. Goodell-Pratt was bought out by Millers Falls (a 1/2 hour away) and the Shelburne Falls plant was used to make the "Mohawk/Shelburne" line of home owner quality tools. I have a nice old hand tool store just across the river from the Shelburne plant. There are no bargains in there, just great quality hand tools. We also have "Museum of Our Industrial Heritage" in Greenfield. We started building the chairs in the basement of that building. I didn't spend the time I should have doing research there, now I have to wait for their summer hours. It's great living in a center for Old Tools although truth be told like a lot of people, I'm a Stanley Hoarder.

You're definitely at the right place "French" to share in that. @steven newmanhas a pretty extensive collection which he puts to quite work often.
