Just curious how we rank these days in searches for "woodworking forums" on Duck Duck Go, and we are on page one of the search!

Now if you search for us on Google, we are way down there. I wonder why a name like "The Patriot" Woodworker would rank so low on a Google search?

I just installed Duck Duck Go a few days ago, and I really love it.

We use it on everything. Desktop, laptops, tablets, phones...once in a great while I have trouble viewing a page b/c of the built in ad block. I'll grant an exception to view one time...same for location.

John,..you as admin and all of us as members are more likely to end up on no-fly lists and get audited than the site to end up #1 on google 

Also, I googled a doctor in the Imperial County of Southern California who treated over 6000 immigrant farm worker patients with Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectrine and all but 5 patients successfully recovered. I heard the story on the radio and wanted to read the actual article, so I Googled key search words on the subject, and nothing came up at all on Google, only thing that came up was negative towards the treatments and nothing about the doctor or the case here in Southern CA, then I used Duck Duck Go and the first page of the search results were all about the doctor and his success in the treatments.

 

Conspiracy? Ya, I think so!

Not splitting hairs (no pun implied), but I just did a search using my tablet, Firefox/DDG, TPW #2, behind WWT. LJ, #6.

Same here.

It may be measured by traffic. Certainly not measured by the quality of workmanship, comaderie or friendly group. I get a few minutes per day to visit. Even less to post. As I start thinking the queen starts her orders. 

We're always #1 in my book. What other ranking systems come up with is inconsequential!
