Things I’ve done

I know it’s been a while since I’ve been here,  it I’ve been very busy.  Here are a couple of photos of what I’ve been doing.  It takes a long time to get a shop set up for a good flow.  First is a hardware storage.  I’m thinking of making an add-on to the side of it for the “smaller” storage cases…not sure yet.  I added some drawers to a bench I made…also a scrap wood bin.  There must be a rule of thumb on how small of a piece of wood I should keep.  I also tried my hand at a charturie board…if I spelled that right…today I have the day off (another by choice) because I have an appointment at the VA.  Nothing serious, just a pain.  If I’m not here before Christmas, I want to wish you all (My second family) a very Merry Christmas!

Oh, I forgot to mention the spray can shaker I made….ha ha ha..

You know, you'd have a lot more room if you that big silver thing out side. Maybe that's a bad idea in NH.

That is a great shop, I'd love to have that much space. You are doing what most true tinker shop guys do..............have fun and just enjoy.  Keep up the  "having fun" projects.

Mine is- If it doesn't get sucked-up by the shop vac, it's a keeper!

Well Santa and elves certainly have been quite busy in and on their workshop. Thanks for the pics and updates.

Like it alot. I need to do something quite similar so will shamelessly build upon your model.

You just identified it...smaller than your thumb, might consider tossing...might?:P

Cool design and execution. Drill powered or???? You were more creative and motivated than I when I made MINE

...and a very Merry Christmas to you and your family also. Wishing you blessings through the remainder of 2021 and to start the New Year.

Thanks Lew.  I tried uploading a 2.5 second video, but it wouldn’t accept the format it’s in.

It is drill powered.  I use a little Ryobi screw gun cause it’s low speed.  If I used my other drill it would come apart…I think.  Thank you for the kind words.

I think I’ve figured out the video format for the paint shaker…

mp4 is best. If you are using an iPhone, there's a setting on it to change it to mp4

Thanks Gene.  I have arthritis in both hands and holding onto the can and shaking it for two or three minutes can sometimes be difficult.
