November 16, 20214 yr Popular Post Years ago, after attending a seminar with Kelley Mehler (and his subsequent FWW article). I made a cross-cut sled that I use just about every time I don't have a rip fence on the table saw. I find it handy for pieces from 14' long to 3" long (given that the shield helps hold down the pieces. Shortly thereafter, I made one or mitering that I've used on hundreds of picture frames. In the last couple years, I've also put together some quick and dirties for specific needs. I did a presentation at the club meeting last weekend.
