I have no idea.  The closest I can come is a handle for a harvesting tool.  And, it may be a homemade handle.

Thought maybe some northern or Midwest members might know this as I do not believe these were used in the South.

No winner yet so second tip: It is used in relation to harvest of a crop.

Getting closer . Lets just say after the grain comes out of the field this object is then used
