This is the newest stick, based on a Baggetta  design:

And here is the display rack I built for the sticks, there are magnets on the back so I can stick it to the canopy leg at the Farmers Market :

Looks good Wichman. Smart idea with the magnet, saves table space.

Cool set of sticks, and nice display!  Hope they do well for you.

I just wanted to get it done so I could use it this weekend, over the winter I plan to make fancy brackets to hold the wands. This all depends on sales of course. :)

The wands sold well, four all told, the most expensive (with the tower crystal) went first without a quibble about the price. :)

A note on the magnets. These magnets were strong enough to hold to the pole, but are too slick to stay in position. I'm going to add some peel and stick sandpaper so they won't slide as easily. I'll let you know how it works. :)

You might try some mounting tape.

I love using magnet to attach signage to the canopy frame at the Farmers Market, easy setup and take down. This weekend was the first time I've had any trouble with them, and I've been using magnets for 10+ years. And I had trouble with the other magnet, an 18" bar magnet. It was a little moist, dew, and I think that was the culprit, the sandpaper (120 grit) should do the trick. :)

Really nice wands.  I am curious how you hollowed out the end that is also square like.  Did you cut out the interior and then glue the pieces together?

A story, I made many of them some years ago.  A woman was running for some public office locally and stopped by to request our vote.  Her little daughter was so bored that I pulled out my bag of wands.  The little girls eyes grew open and excitement was all over her face.  She chose the one she wanted.  No cost.  The joy on the face was more than enough reward.  But, icing on the cake, the little girl, said, "Moma, it really works!".  Let's hope that it really doesn't.

These are all compound cut. To insert the crystal in the one with the box end I drilled from the end (lengthwise) and then used a needle file to match the sides of the crystal. Glued it in place with polyurethane glue, trimmed the excess with an exacto knife.
