October 6, 20214 yr Bought my first Shopsmith new in 1975. Had it rehabbed in '85 to update it with a new quill. Other than a new switch, nothing else has needed repaired. Bought #2 used about 10 years ago. Don't know it's DOB but, it hasn't needed anything. Both just keep purring along.
October 6, 20214 yr Popular Post I do love the tilting table for boring and drilling. Makes too many things easy. I don't need any Kregg pocket stuff. I can do it all with a SS. 13 or 14 degrees tilt, bore the hole.
