August 1, 20214 yr Popular Post So I made a couple of salt and pepper shakers for a streamer friend of mine as well as one of the antique pepper mills, she had asked if I made bowls as well and I said yes I did. So this being said I put to good use some of the lumber that I had ordered out of Arizona and started laminating it yesterday. As of today it is fully dry cured with absolutely NO GAPS this go around. It was an EXTREMELY DANGEROUS and rocky start but so far I'm very pleased with the way its looking and the way its going. I have a couple progress pics. I guess it wont let me up load video I'll show the pics. NOTE this is the largest bowl I've started turning to date. Edited August 1, 20214 yr by AndrewB
August 1, 20214 yr Great looking start! You should be able to upload .mp4 formats. I think Movavi Video Converter should work with your editing software.
August 1, 20214 yr Author Popular Post Just a bit more on the progress of the bowl. And @lew for some reason it wont let me convert to mp4 with simple transfer. Either way not a huge deal.
August 1, 20214 yr What camera? I use this one. The free version doe not have all the features unlocked but it works for a lot of the conversions- https://www.freemake.com/free_video_converter/ Or you could upload to your YouTube channel and then use the linking function.
August 1, 20214 yr Here's how to force the iphone to do mp4- https://www.apeaksoft.com/recorder/record-iphone-video-in-mp4.html This is from my iPhone 11; iOS 14.6 IMG_0977.mp4
August 3, 20214 yr Author Popular Post Its all gravy at @lew it was just a wonky start clip with the start of the bowl but I may have to check that app out. As well as with the finished bowl finished it off yesterday I've got a few tool marks still in the finish but I actually like the way it makes the bowl look. Rather than having that store bought finish it looks rough and more like a hand made bowl. Edited August 3, 20214 yr by AndrewB
