More pallet deconstruction. Later, gopher patrol. My more humane tactics failed. Time for the strychnine. Tomorrow will be body collection!

Got the water lines all tied together and pressure tested.  No leaks so can bury tonight when I get home.

Used construction adhesive and put plastic top on as well.  Insulated pipes.  Have to get some larger pipe insulation for the valve but that can be added later.  Was not interested in going to store.  Do that stuff on way home from work.

Monday?

Did almost last of servicing on the Pilot yesterday. Will be heading to SIL's tomorrow, returning Wednesday.

Will be doing 2nd of 3 drain/refills of the transmission fluid when we get there, 3rd when we return along with installing the power steering and transmission coolers. Will also be installing Filtran magnetic filters to both then.

Then it's on to going through the A/C system, just doesn't seem quite right.

Mixed up 20 pill cups of poison pellets and peanut butter. Distributed them all. Door to door service. I hope them varmints enjoy their last meal!:Cheer:

Glued down the ABS plastic box and left overnight.  Used a large piece of concrete as a weight.  65 lbs was plenty to seat the construction adhesive.

Then closed it all up and put the dirt back.  Nice and neat.  Hopefully the only time I will need to use that valve is during the pressure testing as I lay pipe every 10 ft till I reach back building.  Currently have installed 30 ft of 60 total.  Halfway done, my arms are on fire from all that digging.

What are you using to dig? I have used a sharpshooter very effectively for pipe  laying. The trench will only be about 6 inches wide.

I had wanted to rent a trencher.  Well I need a day off not a holiday or a Sunday, currently not happening.  So I went old school and used the post hole digger to get it and keep it going.    Only going 18 inches.  Has not been terribly bad but I am limited how long my bad wrist and arm can be abused.; :BangingHead:

Neat work, Gunny. Well done.

Broke down some of the rounds and have a few pieces ready to turn.  Need to sharpen my chainsaw.  The whateveritis oak did it in.

Ordered a Best Wood Tools post for the Powermatic.  It was 3" too long and extended below the banjo.  Cut off, grind flat, draw file smooth, and file chamfer to correct the issue.  Wasn't worth paying the freight to exchange.  Now I can use any of their rests on the new lathe.

Ac in the shop started leaking water inside. Cleaned filters and coils and that seems to have resolved the issue.

I think my p-nut butter and strychnine concoction was well recieved. Disposed of a few bodies that came out to die. Assuming the rest died at home. Filled in all the holes. If any varmints dig out, I'll know which holes to feed, next time. But, so far none have reappeared.

I don't like any kind of vermin but, these eat plant roots. We have enough problems keeping plants and trees happy, as it is. Not to mention, their holes and, mounds kinda mess up the landscaping.

Tuesday and Thursday, this week, our only TV will be tuned to the Suns Basketball games. First time since '93 IIRC, that they've been in a Championship game. I wish them luck but, I really couldn't care less. Phyl, on the other hand, is a die hard fan. So, I'll just read a book. :P
