June 12, 20215 yr Popular Post Son was supposed to bring over his right angle drill so I could drill for wiring today but, he forgot. Oh well, there's plenty more stuff to do today. Phyl wants to go to a junk store tomorrow. We'll pick up that drill on the way. Monday is a better day for drilling anyway. I don't know why, but heck, we can rationalize darned near anything.

June 12, 20215 yr Popular Post Drove home from a week babysitting grandkids up near Lake Erie (Sandusky). That and fixed rips in a reclining sofa, drawer bottom that falls out, and removed a mantel in anticipation of a kitchen remodel that started Friday morning. Trip home uneventful except we hit some of Brood X north and south of Dayton. Today catching up on home and yard chores.
June 12, 20215 yr At least you didn't wreck due to the bugs, some police departments are warning folks to drive with their windows up...so is a guy who almost totaled his car when one flew into his face while he was driving. When I say "almost" totaled his car, he did some heavy damage when he hit a pole.

He swatted at a mosquito and drove off into a culvert. He spent the next 70+ years in a wheelchair. If you remember them from the '50s, there was no "crunch room" in the front. In fact the front had little convex surfaces on the inside to accommodate the headlights.
