May 18, 20215 yr Good luck getting the VA to accept those realities. I have dead nerves in both feet and the podiatrist stated that it could be caused by Agent Orange or from diabetes. Well, after that I was diagnosed with prediabetes but the foot pain has been around for 10 years. The VA says that we who served on carriers did not get exposed to Agent Orange. I don't know if we had it onboard and put it on our planes to spray. However, we were within just a few miles of shore as we could sometimes see shore to recover our birds. Who knows. Good luck with any help from them.

Don't know if you have a Facebook account, but, there is a group there that has been helping blue water sailors with information to win their appeals to the VA for Agent Orange exposure. This is the Facebook page link- https://www.facebook.com/groups/353825681452390 And additional information- These folks have information on deck logs to verify if your ship was within the 12 mile limit during the time agent orange was used. Lots of sailors are having their appeals granted. Edited May 18, 20215 yr by lew
