Looks like that system is similar to the Beall system. I started gathering parts to put something like this together but couldn’t find suitable buffing wheels locally. Kinda went on the back burner. Someone told me that I needed to let the finish cure for several weeks to get the best results.

yea its not too bad I mean It works.

rLew it depends on the finish you used. For Watco 3 to 7 days should  be plenty. For lacquer use a speed under 850 or it will melt the lacquer. Good with Tung Oil also. Have done some other finishes also. I do not think the Penn State buffs are near as good as the Beall are. Beall has more stitching making it tighter . I do not think you will be happy with the trio mount and I do not know any serious turners in our club who use it.
