Looks like a contender if you are wanting a SHELIC cutter head planer.  Looks a lot like the DW734.

I just replaced my previous purchase with the Oliver 10044. It Rocks!

I had a Laguna helical style but ended up returning it. Oliver is the same form factor as the Laguna and the added Shelix + Wixey, made for a compelling upgrade. More planer than I needed but "buy once, cry once"! 

It's a buy recommend.

Thanks. Looking forward to hearing and seeing your results. I get it about the weather. Only 2" of snow on the ground here but haven't been above freezing all week. Balmy 12° right now.
