 John, I have made several cutting boards, striped with different colored boards, round pizza boards and one large made of hard Maple. However none can compare to your artistry and design.

My wife and I make hundreds of striped boards every year. we have a small woodworking business and sell at art and fine craft fairs here in the midwest. The endgrain chaotic board is easy because there really isn't a pattern to follow just a lot of cutting and gluing. 

Are you sure that you don't have Legos mixed in?  LOL  You must have spent a lot of time cutting and then gluing.  I am impressed.  

 

Kevin, there used to be a guy in Dayton, just north of you that did customized furniture and boards.  I can't remember the name right now, but I did buy a couple of boards from him about 15 years ago.

one of my nicer ones long ago:

 

10 different woods, all book matched.  i think about 12 x 21 x 2-ish

@DAB I think you did a tutorial on these back on the old Wood forum. Much Appreciated and what I based mine on. My sister still says too beautiful to use.
