My current spoons have dried sufficiently that I can finish them up.   I was having trouble determining the thickness of the bowls and my "pinch test" wasn't being very reliable.   Not being a turner, I don't have any nice calipers I can use.  So necessity is the mother of invention.   Head to the scrap bin, pull out some "popsicle sticks" from the glue box and made some up.

    We have a very good turner in our club who when doing a demo and asked about measuring thickness he holds up two fingers and as far as I know has no calipers for thickness.
