Looking for bandsaw blades

Featured Replies

Anyone have a recommendation where to buy good bandsaw blades. My old taiwanese bandsaw uses 92.5" blades but I can make 93" work. Broke 2 1/4" blades in an hour!

I have found some at Ace Hardware and Lowe's.  I haven't had to order online yet so I can't recommend a website.

I've had good luck with Timberwolf blades from Suffolk Machinery.

My last blade came from Highland Woodworking.  Located in Atlanta GA.  Their website does not show that they sell 92.5" blades.  Perhaps if you contact them they may sell custom lengths.  Danl

I usually buy blades from Woodcraft but they don't carry that odd size I need- same for the local Borgs and hardware stores. Last couple I bought thru Amazon (off brand) and the welds were terrible and of course that's where they broke. I know Highland can make blades to specified lengths. Buy my Wood Slicer from them.

Just checked the Timberwolf site. They sell direct and ship from Pennsylvania. Looks like the decision is made!!

Thanks for the input and suggestions!

Same here.  Great blades and have held up.  Have on both the 14 inch JET and the 10inch RIKON.

I've had excellent results and service from , https://woodcraftbands.com/

They will make the blade to the exact length you need without an upcharge.  I'm not sure if the prices shown on their website are current so it's better to call them.  They're very nice people to deal with over the phone and also very knowledgeable about what blade to recommend for your particular needs.

Thanks for the link!

Of course the blades had to break on Friday night at the beginning of Labor Day weekend!

Lew I get mine locally but they do have a website and do industrial blades also. At less than $10 per blade I usually get three at a time.

Fersco saws- Bandsaw blades

I have been using the Woodslicer blades from Highland for quite a while now on the big band saw and very pleased with the performance. They do make custom lengths.
