Whoa!!!

It's Friday again.

 

Been a pretty nice week here in S.E. Wisconsin. 

Got a lot of mowing done, have a new version of the old "Rawhide" song.

 

Mowing, mowing, mowing, I just keep on mowing....

The grass just keeps on growing...Oh Man! 

I'm working around the rain, and wind, and weather my butt's feeling the leather...

And it just keeps on growing...Oh Man! 

Mowing, mowing, mowing, I just keep on mowing...

Hoping that I can find the end...

Got to work on some of these bowls I have rough turned for the second turn, sand and repeat.

 

No I don't do that mowing, mowing , mowing,

 

But you are supposed to go thru Rain and Wind and Weather, hell bent for leather

Weather is perfect to be outdoors so I have been taking full advantage of it.  Being cooped up for so long at least being out in the sun with a sleeveless shirt gives the body and mind some feel good vibes.  Having a run of great weather.

Have couple of projects running.  Will continue on my front porch project this weekend. Have to lay out some forms and do some concrete work.

A couple grands are here. This evening, their parents arrive to spend the weekend with us. Plus, we have another house showing tomorrow which necessitates our absence for a couple hours. Shop time won't resume until Monday. Then, it's back to ripping cross cutting and planing. Maybe, by Wednesday, glue ups can begin. 

I don't know how Steve does it. I'm using all power tools and trying to document the process as I go. He'd be ready for finish by now...with pictures along the way. Maybe, it's the blondes. 

Hmmmm, not quite...

Yellow circles are where a repair was needed....figure I'm 1/2 way done...

 

Almost to nice to be in the shop....spent 3 hours, today.   May try to get this thing done by July...

July????? You'll still beat me. I MAY beat the snows.

That's a pretty good version Larry, had me humming along with it.  At least if I have it stuck in my head all day it's a good one.  I will be picturing the Blues Bros. version

I haven't got that far yet! 

I have mowed both yards, so that is done.  Cooking, starting on the bandsaw box again and turning a couple of pens.  More sawdust and some sanding on the band saw box.  Can't wait to get out there and get started.
