We made it through April! 

 

For a change it's not raining here "Two Weeks From Anywhere" in S.E Wisconsin, and the SUN IS SHINING! 

For those of you still doing those "Essential Jobs" we again Thank, and Salute You. 

Some states are lifting their "Stay At Home" restrictions, and allowing some business's to reopen.

So for those of you returning to work we hope you stay well.

 

As for us we intend to continue practicing safe social distancing, and continue following "The Cool School Mule's" advice.

Once the lakes in our yard subside I'll be trying to get some yard work done.

 

So what's on your weekend agenda?

TBD. My weekend agendas are more accurate when written on the following Monday.

Sinusitis had kicked in bad enough for a trip to doctor. Called and they told me 3 weeks to get an appointment.  Called insurance company and asked what now? ER to get seen before I have to be hospitalized?

 

The doctors office called me back 20 min later. Now suddenly they have an opening.

Hope it isn't too serious, Gunny. Get well now, ya hear.

I suffer from rhinitis, lifelong thing. Temperature sweeps like we have had here lately launch that into overdrive.  In Iraq I never suffered, go figure 90F + did the trick.

 

Probably get a Zpack and some Cipro to wipe out any infection.  Not bring able to breath through one nostril makes sleeping difficult. Never mind the constant blowing my nose during the day.

 

Did get afternoon off from work though. Paid even.

Used to remember when Friday actually meant something.... Now?   Just another day....

 

Wonder IF they will have their May Day Parades?    May try to go to a local auction, tomorrow....just to see what tools the local farmers around here want to sell.  

 

Might get that saw til done...maybe...

If the weather is as they predict today and tomorrow, I'll be out in the yard. Sunday may take some planning.

There way of checking whether you have the China Virus.  If not dead in three weeks its sinusitis come in we can help you.

 

Hope they get you fixed up quickly.

Exactly. Oddly the insurance company put me on with a nurse and she asked questions on my symptoms. Reviewed records and said same thing I thought, inflammation or infection in sinus on left side.  She told me I didn't present with COVID symptoms.

Set up this morning for Virtual demo with woodturners club tomorrow. This afternoon start working on some platter blanks I HAVE READY TO TURN.

Just got in from doctor visit.  What was done to my nasal cavity can best be described as waterboarding.  OMG.  Do feel better but at the same time violated.    Couple shots to get me jump started and then off to pharmacy for the rest of my fix.  Nothing serious, a bad sinus infection.  Doc seems to think the weather  going hot and cold so quickly, plus alot of rainy days, and high pollen count were this years culprits.

Gotta love those allergies!

Back from pharmacy.  OMG  the side effects for these three drugs include, Diarrhea, dizziness, cough, runny nose, nasal irritation, nose bleeds, headache and cramps.   Doctor gave me a get of work till Monday note.  I might need it.  Who wants to be at work with dizzy spells, and diarrhea?  Yeah that does not sound like fun to me.  Will try them out tonight and see how that works.  If I pass out it will be in my lazy boy.  Comfy and safe.  Be nice to sleep through the night.  Last night my breathing sounded like Darth Vader.   

 

My wife does a good job of keeping me hydrated anyway.  I cannot put a cup down and it is half empty before she is bringing me another full one.  She read the instructions already.  My kidneys are in for a real treat under her care.  

 

Maybe I can order her one of those sexy nurse outfits.  You know to speed up the recovery??

My wife is Ukrainian, not in the mood only comes for a few days a month.  All others are fair game.
