Welcome! Not long ago I lived not too far away, in Crestview. I love the Florida Panhandle.

Welcome aboard!  I'm just north of ya here in LA (Lower Alabama).  I get a lot out of Rex's channel, too.  Look forward to checking out your channel as well.

Hello and welcome. I am just north of you in West Virginia. :)

I would love to move up to New York... I've got family in the Olean, Wellsville, Cuba area and friends up in Plattsburgh

I wouldn't recommend it - the entire upstate area is a dying laughingstock - has been for years.  Downstate is a cesspool, yet it dominates the entire state.  Self serving, hypocritical politicians is the norm, and the corruption hardly gets a mention (see "Buffalo billions".)   I'm in Otsego county (near Cooperstown) where the population is virtually unchanged since before the Civil War!!

I'll admit, there's nothing prettier for 5-6 months a year, and the schools do a good job preparing the kids for jobs elsewhere.

Like Fred, we're here for our grandson.  We're lucky to be able go to SC for the winter, but everything is in flux this year.  Couldn't take the summers there.

When the "halfbacks" head back north from Florida, they often only get as far as the Carolinas or Tennessee.
