February 17, 20206 yr Where do I post the name of a dealer I have been buying from for at least 35 years? Preston
February 17, 20206 yr Well Preston, I take it you have had a very pleasurable experience from that dealer, or not? But I am assuming it's a positive since you've been dealing with them for 35 years. Depending on what the dealer is, if they are hand tool specific, post their company info and all your kudos for them in the Hand Tool Forums, if it's a General Woodworking dealer like Woodcraft or some other dealer, post about them in the General Woodworking Forum. Try to title your topic as the name of the dealer, that'll help get some interest in your dealer, and how wonderful they are.

February 17, 20206 yr I should say, no category for larger dealers, I think we have one for mom and pop shops.

No But in the old Mom/Pop hardware store we used to have they had things you couldn't find elsewhere. If they didn't have it they either knew where to get it, or where to order it for you. They had hardware I've never seen anywhere else. Prices weren't bad either. They owned the building, lived upstairs. It was the kind of place they greeted you by your first name. Always had a pot of free coffee on too!

That or you have half a dozen of them following you around, and if you can get an answer out of one of them none seems to know where anything is, and that's only if they know what you're talking about!
February 17, 20206 yr @steamshovel, here ya go sir. Feel free to add comments about your experience with your shop in the comments section below the link description.
February 17, 20206 yr Author They have a good selection of veneer. I made a sewing machine cabinet from veneer from their site and everybody loves it. That was about 35 years ago. They have been around a long time and I will buy from them anytime they have what I want. I am not affiliated with them. I am a customer. Preston

Preston Thanks Preston, I was hoping you'd actually make that statement at the actual link in our Links Directory, for future folks to see how happy you are.
