February 10, 20206 yr Good Monday Morning! Good Monday morning Patriot Woodworkers! What did you get done over the weekend, and what have you planned for the week ahead! Inquiring minds want to know. Please tell us what's happening in your shops, your life, and any events going on with you. Thank you for being here folks! The last few Monday topics have been very short, my apology folks, been under the weather and just trying to keep up with other things is proving difficult these days. Nothing life threatening, just major cold/flu stuff, thanks for your patience and understanding!
February 10, 20206 yr Been quiet in northeast Indiana. I’m building a pair of flag cases but nothing too strenuous. We are sick and tired of grey days and counting the days till we take off for Hawaii.
February 10, 20206 yr Switched with a coworker that needed Wednesday off this week. I don't know how to act with Sunday and Monday off.

February 10, 20206 yr Readying the shop for an inspection by our real estate broker and her appraiser. I sincerely doubt than either one will know what they're looking at. But, it'll be clean and they won't trip over anything...if they're careful.
February 10, 20206 yr Whats you gonna do put a real estate office in you shop and throw out the tools. At least you might get some real income which is better than what a lowly wood worker seems to want to make!

February 10, 20206 yr Working on a couple of donations to my school's 50th anniversary celebration. Silent auction of items to benefit scholarship funding for the kids.

Not many buyers want to live in the boonies. The ideal buyer would be a woodworker that has horses or cattle and doesn't mind driving 32 mile rt. for a quart of milk. Oh, and has a spare $250 grand.

February 10, 20206 yr We've had too much snow to do anything outside and my unheated shop was a bit chilly, so I got very little done. However if shoveling snow and honey dos count......I was a busy man.

February 11, 20206 yr John go for it and start raising horses and cattle. Had a meeting today that cut into my shop time. Got the top fitted to the box again and hope to lacquer tomorrow. Been working on building my inventory for craft shows.

No horses and cattle, maybe two horses, my daughter rides and has always wanted a horse, but the rest, I'd leave as land, just land, I'd love more than 20 feet between my home and my neighbors!
February 11, 20206 yr I assure you if I could get LOML to move, I'd be flying down to give a looksee. Sounds like paradise to me!
