November 11, 20196 yr Guys, does anyone have an extra set of the blade wrenches for an old craftsman tablesaw? they don't need any longer??
November 12, 20196 yr Hey Pat, got a pic of the ones you are talking about? I may have it, I have several odd and end wrenches I have no idea where they came from over the decades, I did have my dad ol Craftsman TS at one time, and I think I may still have the wrench for it. Possibly.

Any idea what sizes we are looking for? Like John I probably have some but would be a guess which one fits. What model TS is it?
November 12, 20196 yr Author I'm a dope and didn't write the model number down. Its my Dad's old saw that I gave him back in 1982. Its still works and I took it to my SIL's cabin to do some projects for her but having to use a pair of channel lock and adjustable wrench was not easy. Hopefully my nephew can get me a model number this weekend. Thanks so much.

November 12, 20196 yr I have some extras from a couple radial arm saws. Measure the nuts across the flats and we can see who has what you need.
November 12, 20196 yr Author Thanks Dan, have to wait til someone goes back up to the cabin. I'll probably be able to get a model number but noone else is very "tool friendly".
November 12, 20196 yr I think all my saws had 7/8" nuts. I keep a regular open-box hanging on the wall..But you all might have a different size...
November 12, 20196 yr My 1947 Unisaw takes a 7/8” and as I recall, the Craftsman I had years ago was also 7/8”
November 13, 20196 yr If it is not a 7/8 you can manufacture your own wrenches to fit. Measure the nut and collet with calipers for an accurate measurement. Takes some time, and patience but can be done. For my router table build I needed a flat wrench to fit the router lock. The ones offered were too thick to use the way I set the sleeve up on the side to reach the router. So I took a piece of 1/8 flat steel and rough cut the opening then filed it down till it fit snug. You can do all that with a hacksaw and a file. Helps if you have more to work with but its not like you are making 10 of them. Pictures tell a better story. The wrench: Where it goes and why it needed to be flat. Also the channel it goes into.
November 13, 20196 yr Seem like Mine was like any other stamped blade wrench and was straight with out a bend like this one.Craftsman wrench And this is a straight one at Sears parts if you can still get stuff from them. Sears Parts
November 14, 20196 yr On the old craftsman saw i got from a former work buddy, the nut on the saw was 1-1/16 and i didn't get the wrench when i got the saw so i just used an ordinary combination wrench. still have that wrench sitting out by the saw.

Went out to the metal shop today and found these wrenches. If they will work for you I can mail them off to you.
