This means I can stop peddling around with a project, finished, done.. This might be a bugger to try to keep clean....

  I didn't have any kind of a drawing or plans for this project...I will say a few times I would wake up from my sleep and think, that won't work so think of something else.. and with no straight lines to measure from created hart burn a time or two.....

 

This reminds me of a true story and it has worked for me ever since, sense..   Son in law and myself were putting post in the ground for a fence around the four acres where the go-cart, mini golf entertainment thingy we were building... I had bought a plastic two sided level that with a rubber band would attach around the 2 3/8" oil field pipe we were cementing into the ground for chain link fence to set straight....As we were shifting the post back and forth to straighten it up out lever would slip one way or the other and cause all kind of stoppages....Out of the blue I said, hey.  No, that wasn't the end of the story....

I said all the telephone poles are always standing straight up and down so why not use them to eye ball our fence post straight in the concrete....This was in the edge of town and those telephone poles were all around us so the little store bought level got trashed and this is how I cemented post from then on.....

  This picture was taken one hour ago.

Bailey, you gonna have to be a careful duster......It is strong maple wood but not indestructible for some of the edges are mighty thin.

Now that it's in its place it's absolutely stunning. Not that it wasn't gorgeous before.

It seems quite probable that both Jesse and, his wife, have totally accomplished that transition. 

I would vacume with a brush attachment which limits the force of the vacum.  The dust magically goes into yor vacume.

Would you do me a favor?  Take a pic from a bit further back?  I would like to see the whole stained glass behind it and get a scale for the size of your clock to boot.

Something I just now learned and John might ought to check it out...  I put a few pictures done at the bottom and was going to choose which two to post here.....And that was all when I punched to submit reply...… but now I find all the pictures I started with are posted...strange for I never entered them all , only two..

It's done by the software, if you don't delete the photos you don't use the software places them at the bottom of your post.

BTW Nice Work!

Thanks Herb.  Never worried about what type of wood working I do but I been corrected for not knowing wood terms on another wood site and I told the guy when I posted the picture. I said this is my type of wood working and exact names are not important to me so call it what ever you want... Like the carving I do, it ain't real carving but I still enjoy doing what ever it is.

Hey Patch I still see some wall space open . Now you gotta fill that up. Always wondered where you put all these fantastic pieces you make.

Gerald you should see the rest of the rooms. Wall to wall 1000 piece puzzles.... The winter is the time for us doing puzzles. We couldn't afford any Thomas Kinkade paintings when he was alive so we filled our house with his paintings turned in to jig saw puzzles...….So this is the reason for no more wall hanging wood working or anything else...There are a few 2000 piece monsters but it takes 3 tables to hold all the pieces to start with and it sure makes it hard when first starting on one of those buggers...

Gerald between wifes stained glass, jigsaw puzzles, and my puddling, peddling, there is not much room left to live in..... Whups I see a daughters painting hanging on the wall up by the desk. Someone said she transposed every building on canvas in the city of New Orleans while they lived there.....Then had to more to another city to give her more inspirations...…then ran out of paint!!?? I even got to frame this picture for her!!  That's RED ASH if anyone don't know their
