Got my test pieces cut and am scratching my head if the bevel 23 degrees in the above drawing is what I cut on both sides or do I split that in half between the two edges??

I deleted the drawings I had made but looking back over what is posted here, the 23° is the total angle between the sides (at the point). I'd set my miter gauge at 11.5°.

Thinking about this, it might be easier to build a dedicated jig to hold the pieces and cut the angle and bevels at the same time. That way you wouldn't have to reset the saw blade angle for the right and left sides of the triangle.

Did you  miss speak or am I looking at the drawing incorrectly, I thought the 23 Degrees was the BEVEL angle? Trying to make a sled but can't wrap my head around how I could cut both sides with one set up since the bevel angle will change??

Pat,

Let me redraw using Sketchup and label the angles. Maybe I'm not thinking correctly this morning.

Can't you see the drawing on page one? Do you use Messenger?

I do use messenger. I sent you an email with the drawing I found hidden on my computer.

The answer is the 19.1 dimension is halved for each side to 9.5
