Bridge City Tools Score

Scored some Bridge City tools at the Habitat store yesterday.  Felt really lucky.  When I went to pay for them the girl asked what those were and said a guy had brought two earlier.  Made me feel like I missed out on something.  Anyway I'm happy with these at $21.00 for all three.

Great score! Did you wear a mask?

Makes me wish there was a habitat store near me.

Might explain the reports of a man wearing a joker mask with tools under his arm.  :throbbinghead:

NICE score though!!!

My goodness, once a lifetime for sure! Great hunting Dan!

So, how do they feel? How's the action, and the heft, and the smell, what do they smell like, ooooh awwww.

I didn't detect any smell but they sure feel good in hand.  Smooth working and has the weight you'd expect a good tool to have.

That is so cool, just looking at them I can see and feel the heft, love it!

If we have another get together, will you donate them as a door prize...like the Windriver plane?:throbbinghead:

All I've seen is hammers with loose heads and screwdrivers with chipped tips.

I did come across this Disston hand saw once, and bought it. The tag says $5, but they have a sale (most of the time) where the green tagged items are 50% off, so I paid $2.50. I'm not a handtool guy, I just wanted this hang in the shop. I had it sharpened and cleaned a little of the rust off, works fine.

Our local restore rarely produces much that is that nice!  Sweet find!
