Been looking for clamp rack solutions but  haven't had and ideals deals to impress me enough to make it. Can't  really find any pictures of these clamps In a clamp rack. Just started using Pinterest this week and  couldn't  find anything there on these clamps. Open for ideals...throw some pictures if you can find any. Thx.....

Wish I could offer some suggestion.  Nothing I have ever built will really handle this many clamps.  In my small space I scalp anywhere I can throw up a couple of holders.  Have them all over in various spots close to where I might use one.

The cabinet in the picture I made at work to house many clamps. I can't have anything that size at my shop. They take some room I guess I'll have to engineer something. Looked many times I guess the kre clamps aren't hung in racks....

Because those clamps are so deep I may have to turn them on 45 so they don't stick out off the way so much

I have one wall where I mounted 8' 2X4s for hanging clamps. Eventually, they multiplied. Now the new ones get clamped to anything available. I need a bigger shop. :BangingHead:

I'm  trying to get uncompressed in the shop. If I have to dig for things, I'm wasting time in my shop. 10 years ago I had plenty of energy and time, now I need things more accessible...

I can pretty much look at a shop and tell if it's a flowing shop or a time buster....

Mine probably fits in the latter category. But, I enjoy it.

I put the kreg up for sale to buy more jorgensen gear clamps but no bitters on a fair price...

Okay how much?

Make an offer. 12-12" light duty and 12-24 heavy duty clamps.

My shop is 30 x 62' so my stuff is strewn all over the place. I have no work tables so I use the 10 and 12" table saws as work tables. I hung a hand clamp swivel rack from the ceiling some time ago and use it as much as any other except the vise grips hooked over the edge of the table saw extension.

I build as I see a need and don't really go by anyone who has what they need.IMG_20191003_105039561.jpg.803476f78a92fc44560fb4bc70372b63.jpg

For long clamps I use pipe clamps. Lumber yards has long lengths of 3/4" black pipe and its cheaper for me to buy the long stuff, cut it to size and thread it. I don't use galvanized for it will get slivers in my hands so the black pipe is what I use.  I haul the long pipe under the pickup like my dad a carpenter did when I was a kid. It still easy to carry tied to each end of the , I started to say bumper but no they did make it harder to secure than it use to be... For a rack for the pipe clamps I weld pieces of 3/4" oil field sucker rod to a piece of flat steel plate.  This rack will last a life time or two..

I find no one has the right size and shape racks for someone else's shop. Also I have no more area on the floor for anything so I have been making use of the ceiling and with age setting in I like it out where I can see things. Drawers are for things in the house and not in my shop.

My shop is not for looks.

I already have your problem but it's time for me to be more productive with my time.

I just hang them up...935642752_Poplarbox2clamprack.JPG.703173a6143790307b90a7762d2552a1.JPG

Exposed floor joists overhead, and a few pipes.. out of the way, easy to grab when needed....KISS...

Thanks for the posts. There is nothing on these kreg clamps so I guess I'll  find away to compress them along with other clamps and buy some more shop space.

There is a chance I may open my shop up again and this is why the space could be important. Cabinets take a lot space.

Looked them up.  I would make a offer but those are a wee bit out of my slushy fund range to make a reasonable offer.  Never mind you have 12 of each.

Heck of a collection!

I have several rack I use for different but I think this may be in your baileywick. The F style and Kbar are placed in horizontally with the rack over my bench to make for easy reach for most used clamps in my shop.186074304_clampceilingrack.jpg.ac3da31581b077fbdf7dbe695b309b5c.jpg

I have this problem, and found a creative use of PVC pipe for F clamps made into overhead storage.  Not perfect and has it's moments but they aren't on the floor.  This is a small version two 4 and 6 inch clamps.

The problem is the 24" clamps the 12" would be easy. Trying to regroup some of the wasted space over the years.  Cleaning out old tool boxes, etc. I found over the years it's become harder and harder to work and be productive in a compressed space. But that's my fault as I continuously add to it. I've sold a lot of smaller tools over the years, just not enough....

Most think that more is better but not always....

They seem to be out of everyone's range. I continue to get texts on prices but there not even half way there. Been making a lot of racks. Guess I'll have to make one more...
