Popular Post steven newman Posted September 28, 2019 Popular Post Report Posted September 28, 2019 Took 3 yard sales....and $5 total....picked a few "toys".. Two oil stones for a dollar, 1/4" drive Craftsman ratchet for $3...and a decent pair of needle nose pliers, for a dollar... Been a bit well used....ratchet seems almost new, pliers will not need any rehab.. haven't figured out the grit on the stones...small one seems to be a finer grit. Ratchet is a quick release. Not too bad of a weekend... Harry Brink, Gunny, Artie and 4 others 7 Quote
Gunny Posted September 28, 2019 Report Posted September 28, 2019 I'd have been impressed if that ratchet had said Snap On. FlGatorwood and Artie 2 Quote
Popular Post steven newman Posted September 28, 2019 Author Popular Post Report Posted September 28, 2019 (edited) be careful what you wish for... Little Snap-on came from an auction, a few years back....about $0.25..... Kind of dainty, though... Edited September 28, 2019 by steven newman Harry Brink, HARO50, Artie and 3 others 4 2 Quote
Larry Buskirk Posted September 29, 2019 Report Posted September 29, 2019 Snap-On used to be made here in Kenosha. At one time all the forging, machining, and assembly was done there. Now it's pretty much just a packaging facility. steven newman, FlGatorwood, HARO50 and 1 other 1 3 Quote

They have various ratios of teeth in different models. I like a fine tooth geared one for small work where my hand can barely move. Expensive though!!
