Bye, bye, DNA

I don't start many new posts here, but this one struck me as important enough to do so. I guess Kali is moving to eliminate DNA.

Let me get my shock face on.  California eliminates everything except insanity.

Besides melting shellac, DNA is great for removing pencil marks. I guess that would be considered a banned use. One could always resort to Everclear.

Must be too many deaths from idiots drinking it and California insists on making everything idiot proof.  Hopefully other states don't follow their lead.  Denatured alcohol was made so the alcohol tax would not be added to it.  It is ethyl alcohol with a poison added.  Ethyl alcohol is used for making drinking alcohol and as a gasoline additive among other uses.

Denatured alcohol is ethanol (ethyl alcohol) made unfit for human consumption by adding one or more chemicals (denaturants) to it. Denaturing refers to removing a property from the alcohol (being able to drink it), not to chemically altering or decomposing it, so denatured alcohol contains ordinary ethyl alcohol.Mar 23, 2018.

Denatured alcohol serves as a cleaning agent, fuel additive, sanding aid, exterminator, and as a solvent.
...
Typical applications of denatured alcohols include:

Window Cleaning.

Fueling of Small Camping Stoves.

Removal of Ink Stains.

Pharmaceutical Uses.

Pest Extermination.

Woodworking.

Paint Removal.

If you can prove that insanity causes cancer, yup you guessed it.  Banned in the State Of California, BAM !!!:throbbinghead:

Grumpy Cat has the answer.

Thankfully, I don't live there among those people.  I met some of the strangest folks there when I was stationed at NAS Lemoore.  But, I met some really nice folks too.  Yep, no doubt some of the residents must be drinking it or misusing it.  If I lived there, I would go to Oregon and purchase a can, go back later and get another can.  And, yes, I would take the back roads so I wouldn't have to allow the inspectors go through my belongings.  Or, just pour it into a gas container.  Problem is, it will evaporate quickly.  But, it has many great uses.  So, now, I am going to make room in my chemical cabinet to store a couple of additional can of DNA.

Ya know, there’s a reason Worsham moved from Kalifornia to Kentucky.

Saw today that the Kali gov has signed a bill that students in lower grades cannot be expelled for their unruly behavior . Sounds like they think they can get away with anything.

Soon they can just decide school is too stressful and opt out.  Then come back at 18 and get a diploma, call it Universal Diploma Guarantee.

:D

Put all the unruly ones in a separate school and let nature take its course.  :D

I am of the opinion that some of these kids consider it a "badge of honor" to have been kicked out of school.  Taking that away may not be a bad thing.

Maybe I can make some income being a white lightening runner?   All I need is a '40 Ford Coupe.

One major woodworking supplier told me they put the "may be linked to cancer" warning for CA on everything they sold.   It was just not worth the time and effort to work through all the red tape.  Screws, dowels, w/b finish, router bits, etc.
