Even if, even if for some far out reason, I thought the SS would be a more efficient setup than what you have (which it isn't), I would never suggest that Gunny, not after all the work you put into that creature, I would never diminish a mans spirit like that!

My friends brother came over and looked at it, told me it was worth about $300 and offered me $350. I shrugged and said well your offer sucks but I tell you what, you can get out of my shop for free.

That machine you got there is worth more than what a total stranger could know, you know it's worth, you built it, kind of like when someone comes over to your shop and asks you to build a bed frame, and they show you one from the Target weekend print ad and want you to beat that price. Okydokey.
August 11, 20196 yr I don't own a SS but I'll always remember my first project using biscuits. While building raised panel doors for cabinets which had been completed, I glued up door panels using biscuits. Using my raised panel bit set, proceeded to route a panel. Much to my dismay, I exposed a sizeable portion of the biscuits used in the panel assembly. Good thing I had only glued up 2 panels. That was a real learning experience.

Usually Oak, for cheaper, yeah okay. Might be why I always say NO. I enjoy making stuff for me and the wife and do some odds and ends work for friends. Pays for what I want to build.

Oh, none of us have ever done anything like that Al! At least not that we'll admit! Seems I had something like that happen too.
