Picked this up recently.   It seemed to be in pretty decent shape although i haven't completely cleaned or tried to shave with it. 

Had a couple of squares, but waiting for Dave to return.

I have one of those Peter! Not that nice though, yours is in pretty decent shape it seems. I'd be curious to know the history of the aluminum handle.

Those metal handles were for Manual Training Classes.....where kids learned woodworking.....Schools got tired of replacing broken wood handles.....so....

i have read that they were also sold as replacements for wood totes.
