This is going to be research week for my.  I did a show on Saturday and didn’t do extremely well.  However, I had an attorney walk up to me and asked me if I could/would make a Murphy bed.  She explained what she wanted and when I gave her an estimate of the cost she didn’t flinch and said, “Let’s design this”.  I also had a lady contact me about building 15 small boxes that would contain a recordable music box with a lasered image on top.  I hope MaDuece reads this because more often than not shows bring exposure and exposure brings business.

After several weeks of spring weather and being somewhat productive in the shop on some clocks & cheese boards I'm making someone put the malocchio on me & the last 7 days has been laced with 3 separate injuries to my right arm. The LOML left for work on Friday and took the shop keys with her, a later text told me I was grounded for a couple of days.

Over the weekend I installed a new faucet in the kitchen & cleaned the stove, trying to build up my "atta boy" list and get my keys back.

Been raining since yesterday and is still raining today so shop time it is.  Made a key chain cremation urn this weekend as seen here.

Geeze Bob, hope the arm injuries weren't too bad and you get the shop keys back, soon.

My Saturday was spent honing my tech skills...ha. What skills? Got the video that I needed transported to the shop so that I can get my Incra I box set up properly. Haven't used it in a few years and I'd lost the original instructional CD.

In the tech honing, I managed to screw up my password locker and, now I can't access any passwords. Now, I gotta spend some time with their help desk chat thingie. If it doesn't take all day...who knows?... Maybe I can finally get to cutting some box joints.

I have been down and out for close to 2 months with my back problems. This has been the worst that I have had for more than 10 years. Still working on my stretching and using heat and cold packs along with a TENS UNIT with pads that run electric current to stimulate the lower back muscles. So not being able to do much around the house or garage.

Sorry to hear this Allen. A couple trips to a PT really helped me.

Hope you feel better Allen, I know cool damp weather can play havoc on the bones.

Got my PW locker problem resolved WITHOUT using the help line....which never answered with a live body, anyway. I'm outta here to make sawdust. SYL

Allen you gotta start taking better care of yourself. Hope the treatments work.

I actually between working and security team at church got a couple bowls rough turned. My offering plate project in going to larger blanks and i may need a larger scale as mine only goes to 5000 Gm.

Bob, you have to hate it when you get your wings clipped by the head of the house.  I feel your pain.

Did some woodworking today.  Removed the frames for the concrete foundation I am working on...

Would deeply appreciate prayers for our daughter and her family.  Just learned today that he has not worked since March.  He is an anesthesiology assistant and has worked for the past 7 years doing very well.  Now that he is not working, he is seeking employment from Minnesota to Indianapolis to Melbourne, FL.  I am sure he is going to work on his doctorate when he gets back into a university setting.  Anyway, he is seeking a teaching position, but things have been slippery as eels since he thought he had a confirmation.  So, they need help as they have 2 precious little girls.

As for me, more mowing, cleaning and hope to get a day or two in woodworking this week.  Gene, I need a head rag.  :)

This has only happened one other time and I know she means business. The first time involved a 9 day stay in the hospital, 3 of those in intensive care, from a scratched knuckle that developed into sepsis. I'm occasionally reminded that I've received "last rites" once and that scratch or cut needs to be cleaned Now.

By the way, I'm the "head of the house" & I have her permission to say so.
