But I'm not out of my mind. I feel an obligation to fulfill the ambitions of the millions of electrical workers who have built and maintain our electrical grid. They deserve me using power tools. I am at peace. Yeah, I knocked 1/2" off a scrap board. I'm lousy at it. I'll keep it in case of power failures! It was fun to do. The drill press thing is a first-timer effort, and it turned out really well, much better than I thought. I'd use that technique again. No, not on a 60" spindle leg. About 4" is my limit.
