I would like to know what the purpose of this tool is, and how it's used. Thanks for any help!

Pretty much spot on Dan other than this set doesn't include the forcing bar which could have been fabricated on location.

I noticed the John's has a #1 MT chuck vs #4 MT in video. One in the video was pretty heavy duty for it's time.

Today one would use a Magnetic Base Drill instead but you better have lots of use for one 'cause they're quite pricey.

As I discover tools that I did not know about before, I am also releasing them to good homes. But I need to know what they are before I can determine if I need it.

That being said, I have determined that I have no need for this tool.

If you are interested in this wonderful mystery tool, just pay shipping and I'll have it out to ya asap.

That's a quite handy tool, I'd imagine. Somebody's gotta need one. Good luck finding that somebody. I'll keep my ear to the ground.
