November 10, 20187 yr My sister is at it again with the church fixtures. I know better than to start a flat work project before locating hardware sources but I "assumed" (and you know what that means) that a miniature piano hinge would be easy to locate. The thing I made is a "prayer box" with a lid slanted down at 10°. My plan was to hinge the top with an unstopped piano hinge. The stock is 3/8" thick. I can cut a continuous hinge to the correct length but I cannot seem to locate a hinge that has an open dimension of 3/4" or 7/8". The ones at Woodcraft are too narrow- if their specs are standard dimensioning, sent them an email for clarification. Any sources information would be greatly appreciated. My Google searches are not being successful.

November 10, 20187 yr Author @Dadio Thanks!! The D Lawless site has it. I was there before but didn't click on the correct category. I really appreciate the help. Saved me from a redesign now that all the pieces have been cut!
