    Nice!  Has the wood been sitting around for a while.  Is it wet or dry.

    A neighbor cut the tree down this summer. He gave me a few pieces. I rough turned these wet and put them in a box with chips to dry for a couple of months. I finish turned them yesterday. I finished the large one with polyurethane and the small one with friction wax.
