Well, the farm table is finished and will be transported to my nephew’s house tomorrow for my niece to apply stain and finish.  Today I’m building a matching bench.  I’m growing really tire of cutting tenons and drilling mortises.  That’s what I’m doing.  What’s on your Patriot Woodworker Weekend Agenda?5ECA5141-98B1-438C-B903-61CD5D8C4E29.jpeg

so experimenting w/ a couple of formulas...

pineapple, cherry and multi-berry upside down cakes...

well.. they weren't intended to be upside down cakes.. but stuff happens...

thank the powers that be for the 10 minuet rule and a pizza peel...

Weekend got off to a rocky start but improving some except for the rain, occasional sleet & S***flakes.

Had plans to hit a few flea markets tomorrow with the Covered Bridge Festival opening it's 10 day run today. I'll wait until next week for the mud to dry up a little. Daughter, wife & grand-kids are leaving tomorrow late afternoon for Destin, FL for fall break. Destin is about 45 mile East of Panama City so it was spared the devastation there and further East.  My task list for next week is growing considerably especially if the weather cooperates so I may enjoy a quiet nap after church on Sunday.;)

Got Dad's tablesaw freed up and running....and making sawdust.

One Garage Sale had a wee bit of Oak boards....1 x 12 x 3-1/2'.....and a bundle of 6-1/2" wide...some 3/4", so 1/2 ( or 3/8") all about the same 3.5' long...might see what  can be made with those.

Have a reunion to go to.    A factory job I had a LONG time ago.....was part of a Mixing crew....making rubber compounds to make rubber hose.   Place USED to be a HK Porter factory.....through the years, and too many funerals...it has become known as Hell's Back Door.....when I worked there, it was "Hobos, Bums & Derelicts" ( instead of Hoses, Belts, and Ducting)    anyway, the few still alive of the crews  have get togethers....so tomorrow, that is where I will be heading.

May try to get the kids around my house to haul a wood item out of the shop.....need to clear a space for it, as well...

Bookcase needs to be moved.  floor needs patched....that is the main reason for the saw..

Yes, it does have all the extras..

Takes two wrenches to change a saw blade...
