September 30, 20187 yr Popular Post This past week I had the opportunity to visit Grizzly Industrial in Springfield MO. My wife and I were on our way to Branson, MO to see the shows and I just had to stop. I have been there before, but it still was a treat to see and touch. Danl
September 30, 20187 yr Popular Post Wife and I spent a week in Branson last June. She wouldn't let me stop anywhere near Springfield. An excellent place to stop and see the sights. Do they follow you around, wiping the drool off all the tools?
September 30, 20187 yr Great post Dan. Thanks! Never been there, but one of their Summer "Scratch & Dent" Sales is on my bucket list.
October 1, 20187 yr We have one about 3 hours north of where I live, and I have been there once to help my cousin pick up a couple of tools. It was quite an experience. Their Scratch and dent affairs are quite the thing. Some pretty good bargains. Herb
October 2, 20187 yr As an American blue collar worker for many years, I have some mixed emotions about the tool and machinery industry over the years. Edited October 2, 20187 yr by CharlieL
October 2, 20187 yr Danl we went there in 2000 and loaded up one of everything almost. At that time they had one of the biggest collections of turned items I have ever seen. I had never seen vases, I guess thats what they were called, standing 4 foot tall or more.. That display sure took up a lot of floor space but was nice for management to do things like that.... Do they still have employees running the machines in the one area. They told us if we wanted any of the things demonstrated they would be happy to have a guy show us and would spend all the time we needed to be comfortable with it before we took something home.. Something I never mentioned, after we got all the stuff uncrated and running I called Grizzly and told them I was not happy with the band saw for I thought it was too small so could I take it back and exchange it for a larger one. No problem, when will you be here.
