In my searches, I just noticed that the 14-12 Laguna BS is available at Woodcraft for $989.10. Really sounds tempting.

I have read from other woodworkers ,that saw is a real good band saw.

It's maybe about 10¢ over priced, though. 

Al, your Laguna Certificate is good from direct sales at Laguna, and Supermax, just a heads up! By the way, has your cert arrived in the mail yet?

Go for it! Check Laguna's website Al....if Woodcraft has it on sale, Laguna typically does too. If not currently, they do have a similar sale price from time-to-time also.

There will be a standard shipping charge either way.

 

One is on my dream/bucket list by next summer.  I'll surely have the garage cleared out enough by then to have a space for it.

If not, it'll be warmer so moving my bed outside will be more tolerable.
