September 5, 20187 yr I own a PC 7537 router and I'm trying to determine just what type of router this monster is . Yes I know it's for woodworking but is it an industrial router or a homeowner/hobbyist router. Bot it new and have never introduced it to wood yet. Too darn heavy. Have it for at least 10 yrs. Then the second question--what to do with it. If it should be sold what/who would/should the ad be aimed at?

October 14, 20196 yr Is the 7537 the older 3-3 1/4 porter cable router? I have an old PC router in the router table. Not sure the model number no more and unable to find a picture on the net...
October 14, 20196 yr I don't think it is, the bigger one is the 7518 or 7519. I think the 7537 is the 2 1/4 rated model, and it's a fixed base router. The 7538 is a 3 1/4, but it's a plunge (only) model. Edited October 14, 20196 yr by Fred W. Hargis Jr
