This time I really had to look all my waste bins several times to come up with enough pieces to glue together to finish. I didn't want to have to make a trip to Rocklers for more wood

    Ron, I have never seen a woodworker, turn so many waste bin items, to absolutely beautiful useful items, hat off to ya sir. If there was an award for re-purposing, you'd win it. 

    Good for the soul, good for the environment, and beautiful for the Christmas tree!:)

    Thanks guys. When you have something in mind, as I did, and the piece I had planned to use split. The top piece where the chain eyelet goes. I have used up nearly all of my scrap pieces. I wanted desperately to finish it today. Then I remembered my little band saw scrap bin. I found four little pieces and glued them together. I got lucky and was able to use it. There are 17 pieces in this ornament.
