John Thanks John, I don't either, maybe put my clipboard in one for typing on the computer. I will have to find someone with a tablet and see if they can use it. Well you certainly accomplished that...the woods look fantastic especially together! I especially like the angled edges of the joined woods; makes the contrast more striking. As for tablets holders/cases, most of ours are similar to the pictures below; allows to be set on a chair arm, lap, bed etc. to view plus provides some degree of portability & secure storage when not in use. Your's would be much better for use in the shop as many do like to use a tablet for plans or a resource tool while working.

Dave, they were supposed to be square,but I grabbed the wrong framing square, the roof framing square that is set on a permanent 1 1/2- 12 roof pitch. Herb
