How about the option to automatically delete notifications once we have clicked on them and read the post?  That way we wouldn't have to keep going back to the top to delete them.  And just the option to auto-delete.

I am sorry Tom, but that is not possible.

You do know however you can clear all notifications at once?

It was a great thought! I loved it, no doubt someone with bigger brains than I could pull that one off, but I am afraid it's above my pay grade sir.

Yes, I know.  However, I cannot clear the notifications one at a time.  If I have a lengthy list, which can happen if I follow several popular topics at a time, I have to click on each notification separately, then clear them all at once.  I was hoping for a way to edit the list as I go.  Like I said, no problem.
