May 9, 20188 yr Some folks have expressed an interest in trading projects among TPWW members. If you are interested, please reply to this post. We'll give it 30 days to see who is interested then, we can work out the logistics. This should be great fun.
May 9, 20188 yr You explained that very good but add some to explain what you are saying...Trade the finished product or plans or..
May 9, 20188 yr Author Lets keep our trades secret. The recipients can/should post pics. Logistics will be posted later, once we know the number of participants.
May 18, 20188 yr Author Looks like there's 3 maybe 4 participants, so far, plus Ol Buck keeping an eye on us. The cut off date will have to be extended a few days. I forgot about being gone from May 24 until the 20th of June. Lets make the cut on 6/20.
May 19, 20188 yr Not sure my work would qualify ? I've seen some of you guy's work. Is there a materials cost limit on projects, and what is the deadline to present your project ? Just asking.

It's all for fun and camaraderie. Unless you decide to present your work on the forum, it'll be up to your trade partner to let us see it. As far as costs are concerned, let your heart and good sense prevail. After 6/20 we'll decide on time parameters and pairings. I'll probably throw the names in a hat and draw them out, two by two. That is, unless you guys have a better idea.
May 30, 20188 yr Do I trade for something small or big? I don't want to ship a 6 foot coffee table or a 5 drawer dresser. I want to trade but I want to be fair. Am I sending out something out that doesn't come close to what I receive. This is a good idea. Maybe something to trade would fit in a certain size box like the P.O. cartons. Preston

June 9, 20188 yr I like the idea, but I would like for it not to be a one time deal. Maybe we could do it every 6 or 9 months. That would give us time to think about what to make, make it, prepare a shipping container, etc. I also like the idea of names in a hat. Sort of like a secret Santa.
