More lawn and garden work this week, I'll probably mow for the first time this year.Eager to get this behind me so i can get back to the shop. That said, this morning I walked....and couldn't believe how beautiful it was. 40˚, very sunny, and the songbirds were just singing to beat the band. Wow. As an aside, a few years ago this would have been a 4 mile jog, but the aches and pains that come with age has reduced it to a 4 mile walk.

Monday..about says it all.

Got to the point yesterday I could add a coat of stain to the fancy box of pine....WILD grain shows up.

Shop is closed today, for a change...unless a saw gets rehabbed..need to get a few items from the stores, anyway.

Maybe Spring has finally arrived, in Ohio?

Lock miter test flight today. Hopefully, no crash and burn. If not, it's assembly time.

Cut down what I hope is the last Ash tree.  This one was in among some Pines and lasted the longest but the Emerald Ash borer finally did it in.  Hoping to do the final clean up and cut the grass.  Will sneak some turning time in when I can.

Sorry for your loss. I had a box of scrapes from last summer that I finally tossed and after the trash man same I thought of a use for them.

Oh well.

@lew...where's the snow? I don't see any snow.:rolleyes:

Weekend, normal stuff + some maintenance work on the L&G equipment...mowed fence rows, roadsides & ditches...enough to check out the mowers & jump start allergies.

Coming week, normal stuff2...daughter is on her way to San Diego for 2018 Boys & Girls Club National Conference through Friday so lots of extra stuff getting kids to/from activities. Mowing, tilling, and other yard work the main attraction.

Temperatures in the mid 40's today. Forecast is for temps to rise into the 80's by Wednesday. Time to install the window air conditioners.
