Popular Post Dadio Posted March 14, 2018 Popular Post Report Posted March 14, 2018 I ran across these pictures of a room divider screen frame I made for a friend of the family awhile back. She wanted to cover with fabric and have the top and bottom rails removable to slide into the loop in the fabric top and bottom. So I used a dovetail joint on the ends of the rails. I thought this might be of interest to someone. Herb Gerald, Grandpadave52, HARO50 and 2 others 5 Quote

Grandpadave52 Posted March 14, 2018 Report Posted March 14, 2018 Very nice Herb. Beautiful dovetails and a novel solution for her request. Thanks for taking the time to share the idea and finished product. BTW. that is a great looking bench brush too. I have several just like it. We must shop at the same place...I think mine were $1.99/ea with a coupon and I got a free flashlight. HARO50 and Cal 2 Quote

They are so handy, must have a half dozen, can't seem to find them when I want them so just blow the sawdust onto the floor with the HF air nozzle. I did the dovetails on the router table. I used the largest DT bit I had and backed it up with a backer board so it didn't blow out on my sliding table router table. Set the fence and ran the cross pieces thru upright cutting 1/2 the dove tail in the end, then turn 180deg. and cut the other side of the end. Flip over do the opposite end. They are nice and snug Herb HARO50, Grandpadave52 and Cal 3 Quote

Don't have the round black one, several square blue ones, even a couple of red triangle lights. I think Dave was referring to the Fox tail brushes. got a bunch of them. All three...don't forget about the one you wear on your head. Whoops, all four...forgot about the red triangular one. Like Herb, I got a bunch of those bench brushes too. Luv 'em!
