December 30, 20178 yr Popular Post Finally got it done. Mod to the design; pegged the tabs with toothpicks cut to size, added a bottom with tabs (also pinned). No glue used.:

December 30, 20178 yr Author Thanks for your kind responses. Took about 2 hrs of actual cutting. I used 1/4 poplar from HD, stained with Minwax dark walnut #2716.
